What Is a Football Camp?

A football camp is an intensive, short-format training program — typically running from Monday to Friday — where young players train daily under the guidance of professional coaches in a structured, high-energy environment. Unlike regular weekly training sessions, a football camp is fully immersive: players focus entirely on their game for the full duration of the week, covering technical skills, tactical understanding, and real match situations every single day.

What makes the football camps Oxasport organises in Belgium different is the level of coaching behind them. Every camp on this page is delivered in direct partnership with a professional football academy — meaning the coaches, the training methodology, and the program itself come directly from clubs like Atlético de Madrid and FC Porto. This is not a local football school using a club’s name — it is the real coaching staff, the real methodology, brought to Belgium.

For families who want their child to experience elite football coaching without travelling abroad, our football camps in Belgium offer the most direct route to that experience available in the country.

What Your Child Gets From a Football Camp in Belgium

Coaching from professional academy staff — Every camp Oxasport organises is led by coaches from a professional football academy. Your child is not being coached by someone who follows a professional club’s program — they are being coached by the people who created it. The difference in quality, detail, and football intelligence is significant.

A program built for all levels — Our camps are open to players of all abilities, from those just beginning their football journey to players already competing at regional or provincial level. Coaches adapt every session to the group in front of them, ensuring that every player is challenged at the right level and leaves each day having genuinely improved.

Technical and tactical development in equal measure — Sessions are structured to develop both the individual and the team player. Players work on technical fundamentals — first touch, passing, finishing, movement — alongside tactical concepts such as positional play, pressing, and transition. Theory activities between field sessions reinforce the football education without it feeling like a classroom.

A safe, structured environment — All camps take place at premium venues across Belgium, with full daycare supervision from arrival to pick-up, hot lunches, healthy snacks, and comprehensive insurance cover for every participant throughout the week. Parents can drop off and collect with complete confidence.

An experience they will remember — Beyond the football, our camps give young players the chance to connect with peers who share their passion for the game, learn how professional players actually train, and walk away with official academy equipment and a participation diploma they can be proud of.

How Oxasport Football Camps in Belgium Work

Our football camps run across key locations in Belgium — currently including Brussels and Waterloo — during school holiday periods. Each camp runs Monday to Friday, five full days, with coaching sessions in the morning and afternoon and supervised activities in between.

Places at each camp are limited to maintain the quality of coaching and the ratio of coaches to players. Once a camp is confirmed at a venue, registration opens and fills on a first-come, first-served basis.

If you are unsure which camp is right for your child’s age or level, our team is happy to advise. There is no obligation and no cost to enquire.

Football Camps by Location in Belgium

Football Camps in Brussels — Our Brussels camps take place at premium international school venues in the capital, making them easily accessible for families across the Brussels region. With excellent transport links and a cosmopolitan, multilingual environment, our Brussels camps attract players from across Belgium and beyond. We currently offer official academy camps in Brussels with Atlético de Madrid and FC Porto.

Football Camps in Waterloo — Set at St John’s International School in Waterloo, our camps south of Brussels offer a focused, green-campus environment that is particularly well suited to players who thrive away from the city. The school’s outstanding facilities provide the ideal backdrop for a week of intensive football development. Current Waterloo camps include official programs with FC Porto.
