Belgium, August 19, 2023 – In an exciting collaboration, Oxasport proudly announces the successful execution of the second Atletico de Madrid Football Camp in Belgium with Football2Be, held from August 14th to August 18th, 2023. This exceptional event, orchestrated in partnership with the Academy of Atletico de Madrid, took place at The International School of Brussels (ISB), marking a second-year continuation of their partnership.
An Unforgettable Experience at The International School of Brussels
From the verdant fields of The International School of Brussels’ campus, young football enthusiasts gathered for an immersive football experience that combined football training, fun and a celebration of sport values. The football camp was set against the backdrop of ISB’s remarkable facilities, including two synthetic football fields equipped with the top-level training equipment, creating an optimal learning environment.
A Dynamic Football Program
The Atlético de Madrid Football Camp boasted an official training program designed and led by experienced coaches from Atlético de Madrid’s Academy, namely Coaches Antonio Bravo Redondo and Rubén Cordón Hernanz. Players engaged in tailored exercises drawn from the academy’s playbook, receiving comprehensive guidance to enhance their football abilities and learn new skills. The camp was enriched by the partnership with AA Drink, which provided 75 cl re-usable sports bottles to keep participants hydrated throughout the sessions.
Inspiring Indoor Sessions
Beyond the field, participants gathered in The International School of Brussels’ Atrium hall for engaging indoor presentations. These presentations showcased the rich history and sport values of Atlético de Madrid, offering a well-rounded experience that went beyond physical training. Videos and interactive content added depth to the camp’s curriculum, igniting inspiration and fostering holistic development.
An International Coaching Team
The camp’s coaching team combined local Belgian coaches, with the expertise of Atlético de Madrid’s coaches. Together, the international coaching team guided young players towards honing their skills and understanding the nuances of the game, while always keeping the focus on personal development and enjoyment.
A Memorable Closing Ceremony
The football camp concluded with a memorable closing ceremony, where players and parents had the opportunity to capture cherished photos with the coaching team. Players, parents, coaches and camp-partners were thanked for their invaluable support in making the event a resounding success. At this celebratory event, players were presented with an official Atlético de Madrid Diploma of Participation, Discount Entry Tickets from partner theme park Walibi Belgium and refreshing drinks from AA Drink.
To celebrate this successful and valued partnership with The International School of Brussels (ISB), Oxasport and Football2Be presented Director of Athletics and Activities at ISB, Lee Rosky, with the very latest 2023/24 Season Atlético de Madrid Home Shirt specially printed by the Academy of the Club, with the name of the school’s municipality on the back of the shirt.
