Take part in theoretical classes & workshops based on the Club’s unique and successful player development methodology, attend and participate in Academy training sessions. On match days, watch and analyse the official matches of the Academy teams!
The program is open to coaches of all levels and age categories, from youth-academy level to first-team football. From amateur division to Professional. Are you a youth- academy coach, physical coach, analyst, medical staff member, assistant coach, first-team coach? This program is for you!
The program’s weekly training plan is specially constructed by the Academy Experts based on the requirements & level of the participants, meaning that it can be adapted to provide the most interesting and valuable experience depending your job function and age-group that you work within your team.

At Atlético de Madrid, the Club has a long tradition of developing and training young footballers. The Club’s objective is to train players in a complete and personal way promoting values such as solidarity, teamwork and equality through the practice of football to develop well-rounded individuals, not only world-class footballers.
Following their renowned coaching model and methodology, participating coaches will learn and experience new ways of seeing football by learning new skills and ways of training practiced at the Club, given special attention by the Club’s Experts.
Coaches can expect:
The Coach Experience Program is 4-days long or 7 days (one full week) long. Shorter programs less than 4 days or longer than 7 days can also be organised, if requested.
The Program takes place in Madrid, Spain at Atlético de Madrid’s official state-of-the-art training complexes. It also includes visits to the Club’s Museum and Metropolitano Stadium.
There is no specific age category that must coach for the Coach Experience Program. The program is adapted based on the age-groups coaches & roles that coaches have in their own clubs.
There is no specific coaching level required to take part in the Coach Experience program. Classes and Sessions are adapted to the level and job functions of the group. The Academy of Atlético de Madrid has a comprehensive team of experts who can tailor the experience based on the appropriate group requirements.
During the program, coaches will attend theoretical class and training sessions given by the Club’s Expert Coaches to Academy Teams. It is a unique opportunity to learn, ask questions and interact with the Club’s Staff. There is also the possibility to attend and analyse Academy team matches on Match Days.
